Hey, y'all! We're Britt and Will! An adventure photographer + army paratrooper juggling parenthood and military life all while traveling the world as newlyweds doing our best to honor God's image along the way.

2018 was a big year for us! In January, Will was relocated from Washington, D.C. to Italy while Britt stayed in the U.S. to plan our wedding and continue growing her photography business. We spent 8 months of our engagement on opposite sides of the world before celebrating our marriage and our new family of 3 in Maryland on August 11. Then, we traveled to Croatia for our honeymoon and moved into our new home in Italy to start our life as Newlyweds together.
When we originally started our @unitedwestanley Instagram account, its purpose was to help us cope with our long distance engagement by reminiscing on all of our memories together during our time apart. Almost a year and more than 3,000 followers later, the page has grown into a space for us to document our memories, celebrate our victories, lean on others through our struggles, and remind ourselves, each other, and other people about the grace of God and the power of great love. Our love story has been quite an adventure and we are beyond thankful for every moment.

We are thankful for how we met and the stories we have about the early stages of our relationship. We are thankful for Williams previous job in D.C. and the amount of time we were able to spend together while falling in love because of his flexible schedule. We are thankful for our friends and family who helped William pull of the most perfect proposal, helped us plan our wedding and joined us in celebrating our marriage. We are thankful for the distance we endured because it made us stronger. We are thankful for Britts job as a photographer which has made relocating much less stressful and has brought so many new friends into our lives. We are thankful for the opportunity to live in Italy and for all the people we’ve met here so far. We are thankful for everywhere we’ve been and everywhere we’ll go.
